Vastness of Space - Astronomical Experiences

Throughout the year, the Astronomical Society Korenica is welcoming all who want to learn more about astronomy or to look at the night sky through a telescope. AS Korenica is one of the most active astronomical societies in Croatia and a member of the Croatian Astronomical Association. They organize lectures and courses, public observations of important astronomical events, and provide accommodation.

On the same address, and in the final stage of equipping, is the future Astronomical Observatory Korenica with a large rotating dome (they say it will be the largest dome in the region!). Until then, and then, you will be under an expert guidance of Mr. Nikola Mazarekić, the initiator of all astronomical activities in Korenica.

Mr. Nikola is also a skilled craftsman, so as a bonus experience you can arrange a small demonstration or / and get the best souvenir from your trip - an authentic handicraft to decorate your home.

In view of the current situation, contact your hosts and arrange all details ahead:

- check the current working hours and terms of visit;
- make contact at least 7 days before the desired arrival, especially if you plan a weekend trip, because the number of visitors per group is often limited;
- follow the weather forecast so you don’t get deprived of new experiences.
