Plitvice Lakes National Park has secured several educational trails to present the impressive biodiversity of this protected area.
Walk along the shady educational trail "Oštri Medvjeđak" to the lookout with a wonderful view of the blue-green lakes. The trail can be accessed from the Entrance 1. After you purchase the ticket, cross the road and walk to the restaurant "Licka kuca" where the trail begins.
A special feature of this site is a valuable beech wood ecosystem, which requires a special protection. Hike to the peaks of Mount Medvjedak, learn something new and enjoy the scenery!
