Mosque Fethija - Bihac Sacral Heritage

The name of the historic town of Bihac was first mentioned in 1260. The old town, particularly the old historical center, still has preserved cultural heritage sites worthy of your attention.

One of them is certainly the famous Mosque Fethija, an extremely valuable example of the historical and sacral heritage of the town of Bihac that still preserves the contours and structure of the original building -  the Catholic Church of St. Anthony of Padua which was built back in 1266.

Fethija - the Conquered; learn more about the turbulent past of this valuable old building with the help of local guides and guided tours of the historic town center where you will visit the the medieval Captain's Tower and walls, the Ottoman Turbe and other attractions. Arrange a lovely guided tour and enrich the whole experience with a fine lunch in one of the nearby restaurants or with a slice of domestic pie and a refreshing beverage in one of the cafes.
