Korenica Biking Tour
The local community that covers most of the Plitvice Lakes National Park; in which is nestled the impressive northern part of the beautiful Licka Pljesivica massif that “hides” once one of the largest underground military air bases in Europe offers enough challenges for a ride on two wheels. The Plitvice Lakes Tourist Board, with the great support of the Municipality of Plitvice Lakes, has been working on a network of recreational trails for cyclists. The Cycling Club Orbis from Korenica collaborated on establishing the trails, and some of the members are employees of the Croatian Forests taking daily care of forest areas where trails lead which makes them perfect guides, contact them a little earlier via email for detailed arrangements:
