31st Plitvice Marathon
The Athletic club Maksimir from Zagreb in cooperation with the National Park Plitvice Lakes organized the first "Plitvice marathon" in 1985 and the race has gained popularity from the start. Each year a great many people come to watch the runners making the event not just a marathon, but also a lovely social event.
This year you can run or watch:
- 42.195 km marathon
- 21.097 km half marathon
- 5km race
- relay race: the number of relays is limited at 100
(family/mixed relay & business relay)
