This year the Plitvice Lakes National Parks celebrates its 69th birthday!
And there is no greater birthday wish than the wish of balance between humans and nature!

Humans have an inseparable bond with nature, our source of life that gives us healthy food, clean water, and clean air to breath. We live in the realm of nature, are constantly surrounded by her and interact with her every second - we cannot exist without nature!

However, because of man's thoughtless actions, ecological balance in nature is getting seriously disturbed and the pulse of human life is becoming erratic. Air and water are polluted and extreme weather events are becoming more frequent and more intense.

And let's not forget how powerful she is!

Interaction with nature is part of a greater whole, a part of a dynamic system that needs balance! 69!

So, let the change start with ourselves, let our behaviour and policies with regard to nature and the environment be guided by a code of ethics. We need not wait to see what others do, just look at the frequency and intensity of natural changes: heatwaves, droughts, floods, intense storms, hurricanes, landslides, an increase in the intensity of snowfall and winter storms - or just look at the amount of clean & undisturbed nature left!
There is no time for doubts and no time to waste!
